As a Senior Patrol Leader, facilitate the annual program planning conference to plan for the full year. For example, this year we decided and agreed upon what campouts, community service events and Patrol nights will occur throughout the year.
Lead annual Many Point Camp (5-Day Long Camp nights), assign duties to other scouts and monitor the progress and safe handling. This year was very special camping experience; one for being the last camp of my scout journey, and 2nd, my younger brother just joined Scouts and his first Scouting camp with me!
As a troop guide, mentor the younger scouts of Dodge Patrol, and help them understand merit badges to advance Scout Ranks. My goal for my troop this year was to help them become Scouts by year end. They will all be Scouts by end of this November!
Plan out for monthly patrol weeks, fun team building activities such as Whirly ball games, community service events as Feed My Starving Children, food drives, Blanket making or just playing video games with your troop at home.
Mentor other Patrol leaders and help them organize small camp outs.
Sierra Coalition
I reach out to congressional leadership and circulate human right petitions. These include grassroots demand for UN Climate Summits, letter-writing campaign to Minnesota senators to ban neurotoxin, and twitter campaigns to close the nature equity gap.
